Supportive.Steady.Collaborative
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than a decade of experience supporting individuals through anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, life transitions, and the many challenges that come with simply being human.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked mostly in the Community Mental Health setting, providing outpatient services to those with Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder diagnosis; from providing direct clinical care, to leading an integrated mental health and substance use services team. Those experiences have shaped the way I approach therapy today: with an understanding that people are complex, healing is rarely linear, and meaningful change often requires more than one approach.
My style is warm, collaborative, and practical. I believe therapy should be a space where you can feel comfortable being yourself while also feeling supported and challenged to better understand the patterns that may be keeping you stuck. We’ll work together to identify what you need, build on the strengths you already have, and develop tools that translate beyond therapy and into your everyday life.
My approach integrates evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT/Tapping), Recovery Oriented Cognitive Therapy (CT-R), and person-centered approaches. I also incorporate mindfulness and mind-body practices when they are helpful and aligned with your goals.
I’m especially interested in the connection between our thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and physical experiences. Sometimes therapy is about learning a concrete skill or changing an unhelpful pattern. Other times, it’s about slowing down enough to understand why that pattern developed in the first place, and approaching it with curiosity rather than judgment.
Ultimately, I don’t believe therapy is about becoming a perfectly healed version of yourself. It’s about developing greater awareness, flexibility, and trust in yourself so you can navigate life with more intention and feel steadier when things inevitably become difficult.
